Who regulates what
The Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) licenses virtual-asset activities in Dubai, including its free zones but excluding the DIFC. In the DIFC the DFSA regulates crypto tokens, and in Abu Dhabi the ADGM's FSRA has its own framework.
Our services
- Mapping your business model to VARA's licensed activities (such as advisory, broker-dealer, custody, exchange and management services)
- Company set-up with the right licensing authority
- VARA application, rulebooks, compliance and AML policies
- Token projects: structure, classification and documentation
- Ongoing regulatory obligations after licensing
Setting up a company is not the same as being licensed. We make sure your activities are covered before you operate.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a VARA licence to run a crypto business in Dubai?
If you carry out virtual-asset activities in Dubai outside the DIFC, generally yes. We map your activities to confirm.
Can a free-zone company offer crypto services?
Only with the right virtual-asset licence. A free-zone trade licence on its own is not enough.
