Prevention first
Most construction disputes are won or lost on the paperwork: notices, programmes, minutes and correspondence. We set up contract-administration practices that protect your position from day one, and step in quickly when a notice deadline is approaching.
Court representation. Court representation is provided by the licensed advocates of our partner firm, ABR Advocates & Legal Consultants, who appear before all UAE courts including the Federal Court of Cassation. Juris Prime Legal coordinates your file, documents and strategy alongside them.
Frequently asked questions
What is decennial liability?
Under UAE law, contractors and architects can be jointly liable for ten years for total or partial collapse of buildings and defects that threaten their stability.
Are FIDIC time-bars enforced in the UAE?
They can be, but UAE courts and tribunals also apply mandatory civil-law principles. Always serve notices on time and take advice on late claims.
